This glass pendant head is shaped in a hot flame, a method called lampworking. A heart shape is drawn with thin piece of coloured glass to a base of translucent glass, then coated with very clear glass. The heart magnifies through the clear glass that gives a depth in different angles. This glass is fired in a high temperature, it is a tough glass - hard wearing.
The pendant is threaded through a wax coated cotton cord and fitted with coated metal fittings.
A length of cord is 44cm
